Description

Charcoal is used to burn Athonite style, resin incense. Check out our incense category for a selection of resin incense and censers (burners) for use with this charcoal. Three Kings charcoal has been produced in the Netherlands since 1936. Using only the best, natural ingredients combined with our 80 years of experience in production techniques, our tabs light quickly and have a smooth, long and even burn.
Three Kings Charcoal is known worldwide for its high quality standards. As a result of using natural ingredients only, our charcoal is odorless and tasteless.
Three Kings charcoal discs ignite much quicker than other charcoal tabs on the market. This makes them highly convenient and easy to use. These coals are easily lit with a regular lighter and are fully lit in just a few seconds. That is why Three Kings Charcoals are easy to use at home. After lighting, the tabs burn for almost an hour, depending upon the size. You can also break these in half, depending upon the size of your burner. The tabs are made of 100% European beech wood and are odorless. They have a smooth, long and even burn, and produce very little ash – offering a consistent quality level. Make sure to store the charcoal tabs in a dry place.
Burn Time: 20 - 30 minutes
How to use the charcoal to burn resin incense: use a pair of tongs to place a charcoal disc in the incense burner. Hold a flame to the charcoal until sparks have trans versed the tab.The tabs ignite easily and quickly by holding a simple, small-flamed lighter to it. When the charcoal is fully heated, a gray, ashy soot will cover the red-hot, glowing tab. This indicates the charcoal is ready for use. Spread the incense on top of the charcoal using small spoon and enjoy the exotic fragrance released by the incense.
